Manama, November 7 (BNA): Bahrain General Index closed at 1,785.63 points, recording an increase of 6.70 points over the previous close.
This increase is attributed to the rise in the financial and materials sector.
The Bahrain Islamic Index closed at the level of 721.25 points, recording a decrease of 0.33 points from the previous closing.
The results indicated that 126 transactions were made on equity with a volume of 5,465,370, with a value of 1,207,465 BD.
Investors mainly trade in the financial sector, representing 61.13% of the total value of traded securities.
