Manama, May 30 (BNA): The Bahrain General Index closed at 1,907.74 points, recording an increase of 1.97 points over the previous close.
This increase is attributed to the increase in the financial sector.
The Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 698.71 points, recording a decrease of 2.84 points from the previous closing.
The results indicated that 96 transactions were made on equity with a volume of 4,999,363 with a value of BD888,514.
Investors mainly trade in the financial sector, representing 73.29% of the total value of traded securities.
