Manama, April 24 (BNA): The Bahrain General Index closed at 2,079.81 points, recording a decrease of 6.60 points from the previous close.
This decline is attributed to the decline in the communications services sector, the financial sector, the industrial sector and the materials sector.
The Bahrain Islamic Index closed at the level of 728.19 points, recording a decrease of 1.40 points from the previous closing.
The results indicated that 70 transactions were made on equity with a volume of 2,342,702 with a value of BD 511,627.
Investors mainly trade in the financial sector with 49.65% of the total value of traded securities.
