Manama, March 30 (BNA): The Bahrain General Index closed at 2,061.94 points, recording a decrease of 16.59 points from the previous close.
This decline is attributed to the decline in the communications services sector, the consumer sector, the financial sector, and the materials sector.
Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 751.41 points, a decrease of 0.83 points from the previous close.
The results indicated that 144 transactions were made on equity with a volume of 4,927,776, with a value of 1,024,737 BD.
Investors mainly trade in the financial sector, representing 66.31% of the total value of traded securities.
