Manama, March 8 (BNA): The Bahrain General Index closed at 2,069.90 points, recording an increase of 7.72 points over the previous close.
This increase is attributed to the increase in the telecom services and materials sector.
The Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 753.89 points, recording an increase of 6.93 points from the previous closing.
The results indicated that 170 transactions were made on equity with a volume of 2,777,201 with a value of 1,591,962 BD.
Investors mainly trade in the materials sector, accounting for 79.74% of the total value of traded securities.
