Radio Bahrain 96,5 unveils its new identity

Manama, February 2 (BNA) Bahrain Radio (96.5) today unveiled its new brand, which comes as part of its development strategy.

Bahrain Radio 96.5 is a radio station operated and managed by Bahrain Radio Company, which is wholly owned by Mumtalakat Holding Company “Mumtalakat”, the sovereign wealth fund of the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The new visual identity is inspired by the legacy of the old radio station, being the first radio station in Bahrain to broadcast in English.

The new identity reflects the evolution of the radio and expresses the essence of the innovative brand with modern aesthetics.

The new slogan “Live with Music” expresses the uniqueness of this station in providing high-end music and entertainment programs that reach its listeners in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia.

“We are very pleased with the new identity of the radio, which reflects the ambitious plans of the Bahrain Radio Company and supports our efforts in guiding this station towards the future in the midst of the increasingly sophisticated modern radio broadcasting arena,” said Bahrain Radio Company Chairman Khalid Mohammed Matar.

The radio recently added several new programs to its network presented by a number of prominent and experienced broadcasters.

Bahrain Radio 96.5, a trusted community radio service launched in 1977, operates around the clock to provide listeners of different cultures and ages with a selection of the latest music, entertainment and local and international news.

The service reaches 6.5 million listeners in Bahrain, the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia and other regions.
