Bahrain Airport Company signs MoU to provide volunteers to INJAZ Bahrain

Manama, Jan. 17 (BNA): Bahrain Airport Company (BAC), the operator and governing body of Bahrain International Airport (BIA), has signed a two-year Memorandum of Understanding with Injaz Bahrain, a non-profit youth empowerment organization. organization, to offer 20 of its employees as volunteers for Injaz programs.

The agreement was signed on behalf of Bahrain Airport Company (BAC) CEO Mohammed Yousef Al Banfalah and Executive Director of INJAZ Bahrain Hana Sarwani in the presence of a number of officials from both parties.

Al-Binfalah said: “As one of the largest employers in the aviation sector in Bahrain, BAC is committed to fostering a strong volunteering culture among its team and contributing to the development of young talent. This agreement will not only help foster employees’ sense of selflessness and empathy, but will also allow them to By actively contributing to the betterment of our nation by leading some of the valuable training activities that INJAZ Bahrain offers in the Kingdom.”

According to the agreement, Bahrain College will select 10 volunteers for each academic year for a period of two years, with INJAZ Bahrain providing them with training before they join the selected programs and schools. Once a year, BAC organizes a youth training day with INJAZ Bahrain to place its employees in their workplace, giving them exposure to different aspects of the aviation industry.
