Bahrain Airport Company and Bahrain Car Parks Company “Amakin” sign contract for car park maintenance services

Manama, November 11 (BNA): Bahrain International Airport Company (BAC) awarded a contract to provide maintenance services for car parks at Bahrain International Airport to Bahrain Car Park Company (Amaken). The agreement was signed by the CEO of Bahrain Airport Company, Mohammed Yousef Al-Binfalah, along with Tariq Al-Jowder, CEO of Amaken, during the Bahrain International Airshow, in the presence of the Vice President of Information and Communications Technology, Mahmoud.

Al-Binfalah said: “Securing strategic partnerships that add value to BIA’s offering is a priority for BAC. As befits an airport that can handle up to 14 million passengers annually, parking at Bahrain International Airport is convenient, efficient and economical with short- and long-term parking facilities that can accommodate nearly 5,500 vehicles. We are pleased to partner with Amakin, which specializes in car park maintenance, to ensure that our facilities continue to serve visitors safely and effectively for years to come.”

Mr. Al-Jowder said: “BAC and Amakin share the same values ​​in serving the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people. We are confident that this partnership will strengthen the service sector and will have a positive impact on the national economy. This agreement is also a major commercial achievement for Amakin, which is in line with our ambition to expand our offering to key industries in Bahrain, including aviation. The modern multi-storey car park (Car Park B) spans three floors and has 2,700 parking spaces less than a minute’s walk from the building. The car park, which can be used for pick-ups and drop-offs, includes a staging area for taxis, a car wash, automatic payment machines, and spaces for the disabled.

With two entry points and three exit points, the advanced parking facility is easy to navigate and offers a range of services that make arrival and departure from Bahrain International Airport as easy as possible.
