Manama, November 10 (BNA) The President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, Sheikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, received today the President of the University of Bahrain, Dr. Jawaher Shaheen Al Mudhahki.
She commended the University of Bahrain as an educational institution, wishing Dr. Al-Mudhaki success in her new assignments.
The two sides discussed the latest cultural developments, including preparations for the International Day of Islamic Art, which falls on November 18, and Bahrain’s participation in Expo 2020 Dubai, which runs until March next year.
The President of the University of Bahrain thanked the British Airports Authority for all the efforts made to enhance the cultural presence of the Kingdom at the regional and international levels. It expressed its constant readiness to cooperate with the authority to enhance the Kingdom’s civilized and cultural features.
