Manama, June 20 (BNA) The President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, Sheikha Mai bint Muhammad Al Khalifa, received the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Yasser Muhammad Shaaban.
The meeting discussed the development of cultural relations between the two countries and ways to enhance cooperation.
The president of the academy praised the cultural relations between the two countries and expressed her aspiration to achieve more joint cultural achievements.
She thanked the Egyptian ambassador for his interest in strengthening Bahraini-Egyptian cultural relations.
The ambassador thanked the President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities for preserving the cultural and civilizational heritage in Bahrain and for her keenness to provide an environment that supports Bahrain’s cultural orientation.
