Manama, April 4 (BNA) The President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, Sheikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, received today the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Syria, Waheed Mubarak Sayyar.
She wished the ambassador all success in performing his diplomatic duties, stressing the importance of diplomatic work in strengthening cultural relations between Bahrain and the brotherly Arab countries.
She stressed the depth of the Bahraini-Syrian relations, expressing her hope to implement joint cultural projects in the near future.
The envoy expressed his thanks to the head of the authority for her continuous efforts to consolidate the Kingdom’s position as a civilizational and cultural center, adding that he will cooperate with the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities to launch Bahraini-Syrian cultural projects.
