Rome, February 19 (BNA) The President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, Sheikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, in the presence of the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Italy, Dr. Nasser Mohammed Al Balushi, met the Italian Deputy Minister of State. Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Marina Sereni.
The two sides discussed ways to enhance cultural cooperation, stressing the importance of cultural diplomacy in narrowing distances and building bridges of cooperation between the two friendly countries.
Sheikha Mai and the Italian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation visited the Italian Foreign Ministry’s art collections that decorate the ministry’s building and chart the history of Italian arts.
