Manama, October 11 (BNA) The President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, Sheikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, presided over the 25th meeting of the Ministers of Culture of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
The meeting stressed the importance of Al-Ula’s announcement of the 41st session of the Supreme Council and the summit of Sultan Qaboos and Sheikh Sabah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The meeting discussed the efforts of the GCC states in confronting the coronavirus pandemic and its impact on the cultural sector, the GCC cultural strategy for the period 2020-2030, the translation and Arabization center, and the annual plan for joint cultural activities and events.
