BACA presidency handover held amid gratitude, tribute

Manama, July 28 (BNA) Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the new head of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, affirmed his determination to continue tireless efforts to develop the culture and antiquities sector and achieve more successes for Bahrain regionally and internationally.


This will be done in order to achieve the goals of the comprehensive development process under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. added.


This came during Sheikh Khalifa’s speech during his meeting with the outgoing president of BACA and the founder and head of the Sheikh Ibrahim bin Mohammed Al Khalifa Center for Culture and Research to hand over the presidency.


Sheikh Khalifa praised Sheikha Mai’s achievements in culture and the arts, preserving cultural heritage and world heritage, and strengthening cultural infrastructure.


He praised her distinguished efforts in highlighting Bahrain’s rich heritage, its diverse civilizations, and the openness of its people.


Sheikha Mai congratulated Sheikh Khalifa on his appointment, thanked all Bahrain Culture Authority employees for their commitment to serving Bahrain, and praised their dedication, efficiency and dedication in raising the cultural standing of Bahrain around the world.
