Manama, Dec. 7 (BNA): The Auditor General, Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, received the Minister of Health, Dr. Jalila bint Al-Sayed Jawad Hassan.
The meeting discussed enhancing cooperation and partnership.
The Auditor General stressed that the positive approach of the National Audit Office (NAO) ensures a more successful implementation of the recommendations of its audit report by the entities subject to its audit, thus raising performance levels, quality and efficiency of services provided to citizens, as well as preserving public funds and ensuring their proper management.
He referred to the cooperation of the ministry and its affiliated bodies with the national office team, and continued that he is looking forward to strengthening coordination to enhance the principles of integrity, transparency and professionalism and to contribute to achieving the goals of the comprehensive development process that he is leading. His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and his follower, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Dr. Jalila thanked His Highness Sheikh Ahmed for the support, affirming her ministry’s readiness for further cooperation and coordination with the National Animal Office to serve the public and the citizen.
