We are looking for a Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Manager (PMC) to join our ongoing hospitality projects in Saudi Arabia. The HSEQ Manager will be responsible for leading the PMC HSEQ team, providing our clients with the assurance that the CSC performs HSEQ responsibilities in accordance with its contract.
A normal week includes:

• Lead HSEQ for the program and regularly attend meetings with the client to provide them with assurance that HSEQ is managed in accordance with legal and contractual obligations by all stakeholders
• Support the Project Manager, ensuring that our HSE commitments are met and that construction supervision consultants meet their legal and contractual obligations
• Ensure collaboration between all stakeholders, client, PMC, CSC and contractor on HSE and quality matters
• Obtaining a comprehensive view of the program and ensuring that risks are known and managed
• Ensure implementation of WSP HSEQ management system arrangements to ensure our employees are protected from physical and psychological risks
• Promote a positive culture of health, safety, environment, quality and wellbeing across the programme
• Take a proactive approach to risks and develop awareness campaigns for the program to ensure that risks are known and managed
• Driving a zero-harm vision across the program, resulting in the management and mitigation of fatal risks
• Proactively monitor HSEQ performance against defined KPIs and identify trends and ensure that they are addressed
• Provide sound advice, support and training on WSP and contractual requirements to HSEQ project management teams
• Manage PMC HSEQ resources, to ensure adequate coverage of each phase of the program
• Ensure that the PMC HSEQ team proactively monitors the work, through construction supervision consultant audits and special inspections of contractors under their supervision
• Identify areas for improvement across the programme. To support continuous improvement.
We would love to hear from you if you have:
• At least 10-15 years’ experience in HSEQ within the construction sector, with at least 5 years in a senior level HSEQ role working closely with leadership teams
• Hold the position of PMC
• At least 10 years of experience in hotel projects
• Previous experience of at least 5 years working in the Middle East – essential
• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree or equivalent qualification for health and safety
• Hold an IEMA environmental qualification or a NEBOSH Environmental Diploma or equivalent
• Holds an internal/external audit qualification, ISO 45001, 14001 or 9001
• An accredited member of a professional body such as IOSH, IIRSM or SocEnv.
