Overview of the Assurance Center of Excellence (ACE)

Due to the rapid growth of our Regional Center of Excellence (ACE) in the Middle East, we currently have opportunities for ambitious and motivated graduates who are able to communicate comfortably in both English and Arabic as part of virtual teams. Specialists support key core Assurance (Audit) departments and work on a wide range of clients across the region. In this regional business unit operating in multiple locations in the Middle East, we conduct audit and specific management activities. Our digital services are developed with a process driven approach with the right training and technology. Financial statements are a key finding in this process and should be drafted, examined and reviewed against a reporting framework checklist and eventually translated. Your knowledge in accounting and reporting standards will grow through this experience. New services are constantly being developed in this growing area of ​​assurance practice.

What you will create and do:

As a participant, you will work as part of a problem-solving team, helping to solve complex business problems from strategy to implementation. PwC’s professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:
You will be required to have strong project and time management skills to implement the process workflow from inception to the final review stage, thus working with people of different levels of business experience.
– Develop yourself personally, with a keen interest in services and learn the skills to implement them at a high level of quality in an efficient manner.
The role also requires the candidate to be able to collaborate with colleagues across different countries in the region on standardized services ensuring that they are conducted in accordance with the user manual.
Based on the requirements of the application, the candidates will provide the service against the agreed deadlines and monitor the time taken which is recorded in the timesheet system daily.
Work with colleagues in all Middle East offices on client work and internal initiatives,
Keep abreast of current trends from the region and around the world at PwC’s service delivery centers.
As a participant in the ACE team, the role includes broader practice communication responsibilities related to the implementation of an individual work order.
The role sits within a rapidly growing part of the PwC Center of Excellence Assurance. You will be an integral part of the team responsible for providing our services to the warranty practice in the Middle East. You’ll have access to the latest training and development tools and the support of PwC’s broader network.

What will you bring to this role:

The candidate will be achievement oriented with the ability to be flexible and adaptable on a daily basis. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team with a fast pace and high energy that will translate into high quality output.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related fields such as Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Management or IMS.
Developing in this position or broader assurance practice requires applying for mandatory qualifications such as CPA and ACCA.
The ability to learn in a culture where one takes responsibility for one’s own growth and development.
Ability to work under pressure and meet multiple deadlines per day while maintaining a positive attitude and exemplary customer service.
Strong interest and passion for attention to detail in a multicultural work environment.
Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize workload with flexibility and ability to handle well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Proven IT skills in the following MS Office programs: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
An interest in refining skills for a digital world and technology trends, being open to learning new tools and adapting the way you work.
– Fluency in Arabic and English.
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills that allow you to thrive in a team environment.
Ability and willingness to travel within the Middle East as the project may require.
