Associate Director – MEP Cost Management | Job in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia by Faithful+Gould | GulfTalent

Faithful + Gould is seeking to expand its MEP cost management team from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. You will lead a commercial team to deliver large construction projects – typically retail (shopping malls), hotels and/or mixed-use schemes.

responsibilities

Prepare and deliver MEP estimates, cost plans, bills of quantities, pre-tender estimates and manage post-contract QS;
Interpretation of contract and advice/action.
– Managing clients and stakeholders;
Reporting at the executive level.
– Managing internal programs.
Manage and assist technical teams to prepare task orders/work packages;
Project/client change management;
– Reporting of project performance.
– raising the level of commercial performance of the enterprise – revenues and costs;
– Ensure that watches captured are shipped correctly and billed on time

the individual

Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar from a recognized university preferred;
Strong contractual, commercial and financial knowledge;
– Level 1 MEP contractor background then transfer to PMC
At least 15 years of post-contract related capacity in the field of contracts and commercial management;
You must have had a consultant and/or client background for at least 5 years;
At least 3 years of experience in the Middle East is preferred;
– Ability to manage multiple projects.
– good communication skills;
Political science.
– Team player and team leader.

qualifications

– Degree or similar in Quantity Surveying preferred, but not required.

Basic criteria

In-depth knowledge and experience in MEP cost management and contract management;
Middle East experience in the last 4-5 years is preferred.
– Delivery experience in the Middle East in Saudi Arabia will be a distinguishing factor;
Good contract, commercial and financial understanding, 10 years post qualification experience.
Excellent written English for preparing assignment orders, letters of contracts and communications;
Good communication skills to work with design teams and obtain required information.
Understanding of standard measurement methods.
Good attention to detail and ability to review estimates, cost plans and bills of quantities prior to issuance;
Facing the role of the client in the pre- and post-contract phases.
Worked for a MEP level 1 contractor and moved to a project management consulting firm

Professional Membership – MRICS preferred but not required;
– Knowledge of FIDIC contracts.
