EY is seeking an experienced and passionate Cyber OT (Operational Technologies), Industrial Control Systems (ICS) security and/or IoT capable individual to join a leading global practice focused on protecting mission-critical systems and national critical infrastructures. This role is an important part of our clients’ operational service, to protect some of the world’s leading organizations from cyber threats that extend to more than just information technology. The candidate is expected to possess solid knowledge and skills in the OT/ICS security field, with a commitment to continuing his technical and advisory skills.
As the Associate Director of Cyber Security Consultant/Manager, you will support in the successful implementation of client engagements, providing professional and reliable advice, as well as identifying opportunities for further improvement and support of the client security situation. Drawing on your skills and experience, you will contribute to the creation of innovative client insights, adapt methods and practices to suit operational team and cultural needs, and contribute to thought leadership. In addition, you will support encapsulation of the overall project results into clear, concise, and high-quality work products.

EY is looking for an Operational Technology (OT) Consultant Director to join our Cyber Security team at the Jordan Resource Center. While the role will be based in Oman, you will be expected to travel extensively for client related travel to the GCC, other parts of the MENA region, and possibly internationally (50-80%).
Your main responsibilities
A large part of your role will be to provide engagement and support to business development executives. We expect you to lead and deliver contributions in the field of cybersecurity with oversight. We also expect you to support the Executives in developing proposals, presentations, and other business development activities. You will be responsible for the delivery and quality of final reports to our clients.

5+ years of experience in Information Security and Cyber Security OT/ICS preferably in the Oil & Gas, Energy & Utilities sectors with subject matter experience:
Strong knowledge of OT and ICS security field
Strong experience in ICS/OT products and technologies, hardware and software including, but not limited to, Honeywell, GE, Siemens and ABB product families and platforms
Strong understanding of the complex and sensitive nature of ICS/SCADA environments
Capable of assessing cyber risks on SCADA, DCS, Smart Grid, DMS and ECS systems architectures
Solid understanding of relevant industries production processes and operational procedures
Strong knowledge of industrial networking protocols.
– Deep in endpoint OS and server operating system knowledge
– Strong analytical and problem solving skill
Knowledge of OT Capable SIEM, security event logging and monitoring technologies and platforms
Experience in deploying one-way firewalls, host-based firewalls, anti-malware, and HIDS in factory and operational environments
Awareness of network monitoring technology platforms
Awareness of endpoint protection tools, hardening techniques, and platforms
Strong understanding of best practices and applicable security standards such as NERC-CIP, ISA99 (IEC 62443) and NIST 800-82.
Internationally recognized technical certifications in related fields
Good understanding of plant process systems and plant safety and plant safety systems and solutions.
Success skills and attributes
A proven track record of successful engagement in Cyber Security Consulting is expected from all candidates for this role. Previous experience with leading global consulting firms will support your application potential. An extensive background across Operational Technology and Security is expected with specific experience in two or more of the following areas, which is essential.
Demonstrated experience in business development and account management
– Cyber awareness programs and the design of cyber security awareness programs and their submission to the executive level or the broader organization
– Proficiency in written and spoken English
Experience in managing professional service project teams
qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in electronics technology, computer engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics or a similar discipline in electronics, PLC, wireless (radio), networking, and/or ICS technology field
Relevant professional qualifications such as CISSP, GICSP, ISA99, ISO 27001, CCSA, CCSE, CCSP, EC-Council Ethical Hacker.
