ARC-WH marks World Arabic Language Day

Manama, Dec. 18 (BNA): The Arab Regional Center for World Heritage (ARC-WH) celebrated the International Arabic Language Day under the slogan “The Contribution of the Arabic Language to Human Civilization and Culture”.


On this occasion, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of ARC-WH, Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, said that since 2013, Bahrain has been celebrating the “International Arabic Language Day,” affirming its commitment to supporting and promoting the Arabic language, given its importance in preserving the authentic Arab culture and identity.


The celebration included a panel discussion on the contribution of the Arabic language to human civilization and culture, in addition to a workshop on Arabic calligraphy.
