Arab Parliament welcomes prisoners swap in Yemen

Cairo, April 15 (BNA): The Arab Parliament welcomed the start of the prisoner exchange process between the Yemeni government and the Houthis, under the auspices of the United Nations, the International Committee of the Red Cross, and the Saudi Press Agency (SPA). ) mentioned.


And the Arab Parliament, in a statement issued today, praised the Arab efforts exerted to complete this step, especially the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Sultanate of Oman, within the framework of Arab efforts to reach a de-escalation in Yemen and create an atmosphere for that. A comprehensive political solution to end the crisis there.


The statement pointed out the importance of this important step at the right time to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people, stressing the need to build on this step to achieve a comprehensive calm that puts Yemen on the path of political, security and economic stability.
