Arab Parliament condemns terrorist Houthi Militia’s tttempt to target Abha International Airport

Cairo, February 10 (BNA) The Arab House of Representatives denounced the targeting of Abha International Airport by a booby-trapped drone, which endangers the lives of hundreds of passengers, describing this act of terrorism and destruction that exacerbates tension in the region.

The House of Representatives, in a statement published by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) today, stressed that these attacks do not only target the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, but also seek to destabilize the entire region, calling for urgent and immediate action by the House of Representatives. The international community holds the Houthi militia accountable for the crimes they commit and their continued violations of international law and international humanitarian law.

The Arab Parliament stressed that targeting the airport is a complete war crime and an extension of the terrorist attacks carried out by the Houthi militia with weapons targeting residential areas, airports, ports and energy infrastructure, in implementation of agendas aimed at destabilizing security and stability. And renewing its affirmation of standing by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s leadership, government, people and parliament.
