Manama, November 14 (BNA) The Ambassador-designate of the Kingdom of Bahrain to China met with the Director-General of the Department of West Asian and North African Affairs at the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Wang Di.
Ambassador Wang Di congratulated the diplomat on his appointment as ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to China, wishing him success in carrying out his duties.
He also stressed the depth of bilateral relations, and the ministry’s keenness, represented by the Department of West Asian and North African Affairs, to enhance cooperation with the embassy.
Ambassador Sheikho praised the strong relations between the two countries at all levels, stressing the importance of strengthening cooperation and coordination in various fields.
He also reviewed the results of joint efforts between Bahrain and China in combating the Covid-19 pandemic, and discussed ways to enhance cooperation in this field.
The two sides discussed topics of common interest.
