Ambassador stresses Bahrain’s participation in Global Friendship Project

Tokyo, May 25 (BNA) The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Japan, Ahmed Mohammed Al-Dosari, affirmed the Kingdom’s keenness to strengthen friendship and cultural and civilizational communication between the Islamic world and Japan.

He affirmed Bahrain’s readiness to actively participate in the “global friendship project” launched by the Tokyo Governorate, which contributes to introducing the friendly Japanese people to Bahraini and Islamic history, civilization and culture and highlighting the Kingdom’s economic, tourism and archaeological potential.

This came as he participated in the evening of communication between the Islamic world and Japan, at the invitation of the Governor of Tokyo, Yuriko Koike, in the presence of ambassadors and heads of missions of Islamic countries accredited in Tokyo.

The governor reviewed a range of sustainable technology and development projects in Tokyo, and announced the relaunch of the “Global Friendship Project” through the Tokyo Board of Education, with the aim of introducing the Japanese people, especially public school students, to the history and culture of nations and peoples.
