Ambassador in Tokyo meets Mayor of Minamisatsuma, Kagoshima Prefecture

Tokyo, April 14 (BNA) The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Japan, Ahmed Mohammed Al-Dosari, received the Mayor of Minamisatsuma City, Kagoshima Honpo Teru Prefecture.


The reception was part of the ongoing efforts to strengthen ties with various Japanese cities and prefectures.


The ambassador valued Minamisatsuma’s cooperation with the embassy, ​​highlighting the opportunity given to the embassy to participate in the city’s largest event during the spring to celebrate the golden jubilee of diplomatic relations between the Kingdom and Japan.


Japanese artists will participate in the construction of a sand sculpture that highlights some of Bahrain’s cultural attractions.


They also discussed ways to develop bilateral relations in various fields, especially in the cultural and tourism fields.


The mayor said that Bahrain’s participation will provide an opportunity to familiarize the Japanese community with the Kingdom.


He reviewed ways of cooperation, expressing his support for strengthening relations between the two sides.

Tero indicated that the Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain is the first accredited embassy in Japan to participate in Kagoshima Prefecture since its launch in 1987.
