Manama, November 10 (BNA) Sheikh Abdul Rahman bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, received a cable of thanks from Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs. The Muslim Council of Elders, for the warm reception and generous hospitality, praising the efforts of hosting the Bahrain Dialogue Forum.
His Excellency Dr. Al-Tayeb praised the council’s role in promoting moderate thought, confronting extremist ideology, supporting coexistence and human acquaintance, and serving Islam and Muslims.
In the telegram, His Excellency Al-Tayeb expressed his happiness to meet the members of the Council headed by Sheikh Abdul Rahman bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa and the discussions that took place.
