Bahrain Exports for Products of National Origins reach BD299 Million in November

Manama, Dec. 24 (BNA): The Information &eGovernment Authority (iGA) has published its Foreign Trade report of November 2023, which encompasses data on Trade Balance, Imports, Exports of products with national origin, and Re-exports.

 

As per the report, the value of imports has increased by 3%, reaching to BD454 million during November 2023 in comparison with BD440 million for the same month in 2022. The top 10 countries for imports marked with 71% of the total value of imports.

 

According to the report, China ranked first for imports to Bahrain, with a total of BD64 million, followed by the United States of America being the second with BD54 million, and Australia as a third with BD42 million.

 

Other Aluminum Oxide marked as the top product imported to Bahrain with a total value of BD40 million, while Parts for Aircraft Engines was second with BD28 million, followed by Non-Agglomerated Iron Ores and Concentrates Alloyed being the third with BD24 million.

 

On the other hand, the value of Exports of Products with National Origin marked a decrease by 15% with a value of BD299 million during November 2023, compared to BD350 million for the same month in 2022. The top 10 countries accounted for 73% of the total export value.

 

Saudi Arabia ranked first among countries for the exports of Products with National Origin with BD60 million. The United Arab Emirate was second with BD57 million and the United States of America was third with BD28 million.

Unwrought Aluminum Alloys marked as the top products exported during November 2023 with BD68 million, followed by Agglomerated Iron Ores and Concentrates Alloyed being the second with a value of BD48 million and Aluminum wire not alloyed third with BD19 million.

 

The total value of Re-exports increases by 15% to reach BD74 million during November 2023, compared to BD64 million for the same month in 2022. The top 10 countries in Re-exports accounted for 85% of the re-exported value. The United Arab Emirate ranked first with BD16.9 million, followed by Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as second with BD16.8 million, and Luxembourg third with BD8 million.

 

As per the report, Turbo-Jets was the top product re-exported from Bahrain with a value of BD15 million, followed by Machinery for Filling Closing Containers BD5 million, and Four Wheel Drive came third with BD4.7 million.

 

 

As for the Trade Balance, which represents the difference between exports and imports, the deficit amounted to BD82 million dinars in November 2023 compared to it in the same month of the previous year, recording a deficit of BD26 million dinars, which led to an increase in the deficit by 218%.
