Ahmed Al Fateh Islamic Centre announces Open House Program

Manama, July 7 (BNA) The head of the Ahmed Al-Fateh Islamic Center, Nawaf Rashid Al-Rashed, announced the Eid Open House program, which has been suspended over the past two years due to the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Center has been keen to familiarize non-Muslims with its mission and main activities, all of which aim to highlight the values of tolerance and peaceful coexistence in Bahraini society.

This year, Eid al-Adha will be held on the second and third days of the Eid al-Adha holiday from 9 am to 4 pm at the center’s headquarters.

Al-Rashed pointed out that the Eid Open House program will be free and includes several activities such as educational tours of the Grand Mosque and highlighting Islamic architecture and the importance of Eid in various foreign languages.

Guests will also enjoy traditional Arab hospitality and can wear traditional dresses for a photo shoot.

There will also be an Arabic calligraphy corner where the guests’ names will be written in beautiful Arabic calligraphy and many other activities.

Al-Rashed would like to invite all non-Muslim residents and tourists to participate in activities during Eid.
