Ahlia; Brunel Universities mark 15 years partnership

Manama, May 28 (BNA) Al-Ahliyya and Brunel Universities celebrated the fifteenth anniversary of the establishment of their joint academic partnership.

The ceremony was attended by eminent academic figures, professors, researchers and a number of doctoral graduates.

Dr. Sheikha Rana bint Isa bin Daij Al Khalifa, Secretary General of the Higher Education Council, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees, emphasized the ability of Bahraini universities to achieve academic achievements and forge partnerships.

She stressed the importance of the academic partnership linking Ahlia and Brunel Universities in supporting higher education and scientific research.

The Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Al-Ahlia University, Professor Abdullah Al-Hawaj, said that the graduation of 70 PhD students reflects the fruitful academic partnership that links the two universities.
