Manama, July 6 (BNA): An additional month of financial support will be credited to the bank accounts of all those who are entitled to the cost of living allowance next Thursday.
This step comes in the wake of the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to disburse an additional month of financial support to low-income families to mitigate the effects of the rise in international prices of goods.
It is also in line with the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to the Ministry of Social Development and relevant authorities to grant an additional month of financial support to low-income families before the blessed Eid al-Adha.
In this regard, Minister of Social Development Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al-Asfour confirmed that the ministry has taken all necessary measures to disburse the amounts to the beneficiaries tomorrow, indicating that all regular government subsidies will be disbursed to the beneficiaries at once. Payment as per schedule.
Minister Al-Asfoor stressed that paying an additional month of financial support to low-income families confirms His Majesty the King’s continued interest in improving the living standards of citizens, and the keenness of His Highness the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister to ensure a decent life. to citizens.
He pointed out that all those entitled to the cost of living allowance, i.e. 127,945 families, will automatically benefit from the royal directives and the order of His Highness the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister.
