Accounts Receivable and Credit Supervisor

You are multi-tasking and able to work independently, performing a wide range of complex and confidential administrative duties to support your team. You communicate well with all contacts, anticipate and solve problems, and update the team for your various projects.

What will you do:

Under the direct direction and supervision of the Controller, and within the limits of applicable Movenpick and Accor policies, the Accounts Receivable and Credit Supervisor handles all documentation and all necessary follow-up with respect to the relevant transactions of the accounts receivable section of the accounts.
Ensures billing of clients in accordance with their requirements and hotel policies.
– Process and send all credit invoices timely and correctly.
Ensures all invoices are backed up with valid supporting documents and follow up with relevant departments for any missing documents (guest checks/cover letters). This should be confirmed before sending invoices to companies.
– Check room rates and other charges for travel agents, tour operators and local businesses as per the agreed contract/cover letter.
Ensures proper document control, archiving of all AR related invoices and backups support.
Correct allocating payments received against outstanding invoices and alerting any short payments/disputes to responsible credit.
Assist the Credit Responsible in following up on overdue receivables and reporting any delinquent accounts.
Ensure correct allocation of payments received.
Ensure that all documents necessary for the credit facility are available on file and valid.
Balance confirmations are sent to all businesses at least once a year. All records of such balance confirmations must be submitted for future reference.

Your experience and skills include:

At least one year of experience in a similar position is an asset.
Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems.
Professional written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze accounts receivable and credit data and submit financial reports to management.
