Geneva, Jan. 09 (BNA): Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif called for a global future.

Sharif said, in his speech during the international conference to call for Pakistan to recover from the floods and confront climate change, today, Monday: “Pakistan is like other countries of the world in a series of successive global crises such as the Corona regulation and economic crises, which forced it to seek abroad, including” that from the fund International Monetary and Multilateral Development Banks”.

Sharif explained that the 2022 floods pushed Pakistan to the brink of danger, leaving 33 million affected, killing more than 1,700 people, injuring thousands, and displacing 8 million people, noting that the total destruction and economic losses resulting from the floods exceeded $30 billion.
