Youth Ministry, UAE Tolerance Ministry organise course

Manama, Jan. 21 (BNA): The Ministry of Youth Affairs organized a course entitled “Knights of Tolerance” in partnership with the UAE Ministry of Tolerance and Coexistence, within the framework of close cooperation between two brotherly countries in the field of youth.

The course, which is held in the Muharraq Model Youth Center, aims to highlight the Kingdom’s efforts to promote the values ​​of belonging, loyalty, tolerance and coexistence among all, in addition to reviewing the experience of the United Arab Emirates represented by the Ministry of Women’s Affairs. Tolerance and coexistence in promoting the concept of tolerance and its importance as a way of life.

It also aims to provide basic information about the six keys to the tolerant personality of the participants.

The course, presented by Rashid Ibrahim Al-Mutawa Al-Nuaimi, strategic planning and corporate performance management consultant in the United Arab Emirates, focused on promoting the concept of tolerance and its importance in society, and the six keys to a tolerant personality, namely: empathy, acquaintance, dialogue, conflict resolution, flexibility and teamwork spirit.

He stressed that the six keys contribute to giving all segments of society positive energy that contributes to spreading the values ​​of tolerance and peaceful coexistence among individuals in the family, governmental, local, private and private institutions, and in local communities.

He said that acquiring the qualities of a tolerant personality qualifies individuals to be knights of tolerance in the work environment and society, as it enables them to unleash their abilities to innovate and lead initiatives that promote the values ​​of human brotherhood.

Al Nuaimi expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Ministry of Youth Affairs for organizing the course, in which participants from public and private institutions contributed positively.

He added that the course will enhance the role of the participants in spreading the principles and concepts of tolerance.
