Youth Minister highlights youth volunteer work

Manama, Feb. 28 (BNA): Minister of Youth Affairs Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiq received a delegation from the Volunteer Academy team for paramedics, after the teams presented an intensive training program in the Sultanate of Oman in cooperation with the Omani Environment Authority concerned with public health affairs. The minister said that Bahrain’s youth have presented an honorable global model in volunteer work by introducing its youth to initiatives that have established their position as an active party in volunteer work at the regional and international levels.

Captain Jamal Al-Aziz gave an explanation of the team’s participation in the program, which included training workshops, visits to schools and universities, beach cleaning campaigns, and training programs in environmental culture, as well as providing workshops and practical training in first aid to the school.
