Youth Minister congratulates on World Jiu-Jitsu Championship gold medal winning

Manama, November 11 (BNA) The Minister of Youth and Sports Affairs Ayman bin Tawfiq Al-Moayad presented his congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. Ali Sina Monfaradi won the gold medal in the World Jiu-Jitsu Championship.

The player won the first place in the weight category under 77 kg, in the World Jiu-Jitsu Championship organized by the International Jiu-Jitsu Federation at the Ju-Jitsu Stadium in Zayed Sports City in Abu Dhabi.

The minister stressed that the global achievement comes as a result of His Majesty’s support for the sports sector and athletes, and the interest of His Highness the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister.

Al-Moayad praised the follow-up of His Majesty the King’s representative for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and President. The General Sports Authority, and the President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

He praised the keenness of the president of the Bahrain Jiu-Jitsu Federation, Reda Ibrahim Monfardi, and all the members of the federation who contributed positively to preparing the players to participate in the world championships.
