Manama, July 25 (BNA) The Minister of Youth and Sports Affairs said that the Kingdom of Bahrain is taking a special path in building national capacities and investing in the energies and capabilities of youth.
Ayman bin Tawfiq Al-Moayyed said that Bahrain’s distinguished policy is manifested through the initiatives of His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for humanitarian work and youth affairs, in order to empower young people.
He pointed out that this made the Kingdom a global model in empowering youth and preparing them to have a decisive role in shaping Bahrain’s future.
He added that the decision of His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Thani to form a committee to empower youth in the public and private sectors is the basis of all his initiatives.
His Highness Sheikh Nasser believes that moving forward towards a brighter future for the Kingdom is by investing in the energies of young people, qualifying them to participate in various national work stations, and supporting them to be an integral part of the decision-making process and listening to their opinions and viewpoints. Minister said.
Al-Moayad expressed his optimism that the committee will have very positive effects on Bahraini youth to enhance their work standing.
He pointed out that the committee will contribute to empowering young people in public and private sector institutions, and searching for good training opportunities, scholarships and possibilities for career advancement in line with their abilities and ambitions.
He added that the committee will work to enhance opportunities to realize their aspirations, listen to their ideas and involve them in development processes in both sectors.
