Manama, May 22 (BNA): The Yusuf bin Ahmed Kanoo Group (YBA Kanoo) made a contribution to support tree planting in Al-Zallaq Health Center in the Southern Governorate, as part of the second phase of the national reforestation campaign (Forever Green).
Today, the National Initiative for Agricultural Development (NIAD), in cooperation with the Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture and the Supreme Council for the Environment, planted trees in the health center.
Sheikha Maram bint Isa Al Khalifa, Secretary General of NIAD, attended.
Local fruit trees such as lemon trees, pomegranates and mangoes will bloom in the outdoor spaces of Zallaq Health Centre.
This contribution came from YBA Kanoo, in line with its ongoing public-private partnership in environmental projects aimed at increasing green spaces and supporting national plans to reach zero neutrality by 2060.
