Manama, October 14 (BNA) Minister of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Issam bin Abdullah Khalaf received German Ambassador to Bahrain Kai Bochmann.
The Ambassador invited the Minister on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Food and Agriculture (Germany) (BMEL) to attend the 14th Global Forum on Food and Agriculture (GFFA) around January 24-28, 2022.
The minister praised the relations between the two friendly countries in all fields, and developed them to serve their interests.
He praised the role of the German ambassador in strengthening relations, noting the development of relations between the two countries.
The BMEL in cooperation with the Berlin Senate hosts the GFFA, an international conference on global agricultural and food policy issues, held annually in conjunction with the International Green Week.
The main theme of the Forum is how agriculture can provide the world with long-term nourishment for a balanced diet despite epidemics and climate change.
