Manama, September 17 (BNA): The Minister of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning, Issam bin Abdullah Khalaf, received members of Parliament. Abdullah Al-Thawadi and Basem Al-Maliki discussed issues related to the eighth and ninth constituencies in the Northern Governorate.
The meeting was attended by the Undersecretary for Works Affairs Ahmed Abdulaziz Al-Khayat and the Director General of the Northern Municipality Lamia Al-Fadala.
The minister praised the legislators’ efforts in serving the citizens and the country and appreciating the needs of people in their areas, stressing keenness to follow up on the proposals of members of municipal councils.
He also praised the continuous cooperation between the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning and the North Municipal Council, and reviewed major infrastructure projects.
