Winners of UNESCO King Hamad Bin Isa Al-Khalifa Prize for the Use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in Education announced

Paris, June 9 (BNA): The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) announced that two projects won the UNESCO King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa Award for the use of information and communication technology in education. 2022.


The “Smart Education in China” project, presented by the National Center for Education Technology (NCET), in China, and the “National Resource Center” project, run by the National Forum for Promoting Teaching and Learning in Higher Education, in Ireland, won the 14th prize.


The two projects were selected from among 95 nominations from 56 countries around the world for their contribution to the promotion of digital education.


The awards ceremony will be held next September at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.


The Minister of Education, Dr. Muhammad bin Mubarak Juma, extended his congratulations to His Majesty the King and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on the success of the fourteenth session of the award.
