Manama, October 22 (BNA) The Minister of Labor and Social Development, Jamil bin Muhammad Ali Humaidan, received Member of Parliament, Representative Ammar Hussein Abbas, in the presence of a number of dignitaries and heads of civil society organizations in Manama. Ma’ameer and Aker areas in Sitra.
They reviewed the most prominent charitable and development initiatives and projects implemented by the Ministry of Labor and local organizations to support individuals and families.
They also discussed ways to enhance cooperation between civil society organizations and the Ministry of Labor in implementing programs and initiatives in a way that contributes to community development.
Humaidan stressed the Ministry of Labor’s constant keenness to enable civil society organizations to play their social role and to be more professional in providing quality services to citizens, stressing its keenness to remove all obstacles facing charitable work in the Kingdom.
Representative Ammar Hussein Abbas and the attendees praised the efforts made by the Ministry of Labor and Social Development to support development programs implemented by civil society organizations, as well as to prepare and qualify national competencies and integrate them into the private sector.
