Manama, Apr. 27 (BNA): The Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Bahrain Polytechnic, Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, received here today the newly appointed Chinese Ambassador to Bahrain, Ni Ruchi.
The minister praised the current level of friendship between the two countries, stressing the importance of strengthening bilateral relations to serve common interests.
Al-Mubarak reviewed with the envoy areas of cooperation between Bahrain Polytechnic and Chinese universities, especially in academic programs that benefit both countries.
The two sides also discussed areas of bilateral cooperation in the fields of agriculture, fisheries development and fish farming, and explored ways to benefit from Chinese experience in these sectors.
The ambassador praised the Kingdom’s progress in various fields, stressing China’s readiness to offer its expertise in the sectors of agriculture and marine resources.
He wished the Kingdom further progress and prosperity.
