Ways to bolster Bahraini-Pakistani business cooperation discussed

Manama, November 9 (BNA) President of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Samir Nass, affirmed his keenness to explore new areas of cooperation to stimulate trade and investments and enhance mutual economic gains between Bahrain and Pakistan.

And that was during his reception here today, the Ambassador of Pakistan to Bahrain, Muhammad Ayoub. Nass expressed his pride in the deep-rooted relations that bind each of the friendly countries and peoples, praising the long-term diplomatic, economic and social cooperation.

Nass also touched on the existing trade relations between Bahrain and Pakistan, citing the volume of trade, which amounted to 120.3 million US dollars in 2020. He expressed confidence in the potential of trade cooperation, and called for encouraging investment in tourism and food security projects.

Ambassador Muhammad Ayoub reiterated his pride in the Bahraini-Pakistani relations based on common values ​​and mutual trust, expressing his country’s keenness to enhance trade and investments with Bahrain. He touched on development projects in his country and called on local business owners and investors to explore and exploit promising opportunities in the construction, tourism, food processing and packaging sectors.

The meeting was also attended by Board Member Sheikha Hind bint Salman Al Khalifa, and Executive Vice President Dr. Abdullah Al-Sada.
