Main roles and responsibilities

Greet guests and present them with a menu.
– Inform guests of special items of the day and menu changes if any.
Suggest foods and drinks to the guest and also try to sell them.
– Take food and drink orders from the guest on the order taking pads
– Obtaining revenues, issuing receipts, accepting payments and re-change.
Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed or as directed by supervisor.
Mobilizing absent employees as needed in any of the food and beverage departments within the hotel.
– Hit the order on the POS machine and make sure to enter the special requirements that the guest put in while ordering the food. For example: without garlic, a little spicy, etc., without eggs, etc.
– Communicate with the guest and provide assistance with their inquiries.
Work as a team to accomplish all job tasks at any time.
Monitoring guests and ensuring their satisfaction with food and service.
– Immediate response to guest with any additional request.
– Receive guest feedback and encourage guest to share their feedback on our social media platform, like trip advisor, trust you etc.
Maintain proper dining experience, deliver items, cater to customers, serve desserts and drinks, remove courses, replenish utensils, and refill cups.
– Open and pour the drink on the side of the table.
Consistently adhere to grooming and appearance standards.
Understands and can communicate the products and services available at the resort.
– You should have some familiarity with basic cooking knowledge.
– Assisting other areas of the restaurant such as answering phones and completing financial transactions.
Print closing report and cash drop with the front office/accounts department.
– Calculate credit card settlements for the day with batch closing report from EDC.
– Close the shift at the POS terminal.
– Other tasks assigned

qualifications:

– Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
– Trustworthy with attention to detail and high levels of accuracy in their work
Passion for guest service
Proactive and energetic with a positive “can do” attitude
Ability to multitask with prioritization skills
– Know the products / items sold at the outlet
– Proficient in the use of the micro
