Valid PCR required to travel via King Fahd Causeway

Manama, February 9 (BNA): Urging passengers traveling through the King Fahd Causeway to comply with the mandatory precautionary measures established by the National Anti-Terrorism Medical Task Force.

Passengers must provide polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and proof of vaccination as required, the Bridge Police Directorate at the General Directorate of Border Exits Security said.



The directorate urged everyone to abide by the law and submit a valid indicative report, noting that any fraud in this regard is considered a crime punishable by law.

And she said in a statement today, that the violators who are caught will be sentenced to imprisonment for up to 10 years, warning that anyone who provides assistance in this crime will be considered an accomplice.

The directorate explained that the mandatory precautionary measures aim to protect public health and safety and limit the spread of the virus, stressing that community awareness is the main pillar to achieve the desired goals and the success of Bahrain’s efforts in confronting the epidemic.
