Manama, Apr. 13 (BNA): Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim Al-Asiri, CEO of the National Space Science Agency (NSSA), received US Ambassador to Bahrain Stephen Bondy.
The meeting reviewed issues of common interest and discussed cooperation in space science and technology.
They stressed the importance of promoting the peaceful exploitation of outer space to achieve the sustainable development goals approved by the United Nations.
The ambassador praised the achievements of the National Space Science Authority and its distinguished projects to raise awareness of the importance of space science.
The meeting highlighted the distinguished achievement of the Bahraini satellite (Al-Mundhir).
