Manama, Nov. 25 (BNA): The Chief Executive Officer of the Urban Planning and Development Authority (UPDA), Ahmed Abdulaziz Al-Khayyat, announced the launch of the Guidelines for the Urban Regulation Regulations for Buildings across the Kingdom.
He pointed out that the guide contains simplified pictures, maps and illustrations to facilitate the printing processStand up for citizens and investors.
He said that the guide was launched on the sidelines of the International Union for Urban Development’s participation in Cityscape Bahrain 2022, to achieve comprehensive development aspirations led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and with the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa. Crown Prince, Prime Minister and Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Urban Planning.
Al-Khayyat indicated that the guide for urban division maps was launched in implementation of the decision of His Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister (56) for the year 2022 to issue the urban regulation for building throughout the Kingdom of Bahrain, based on the decision of the Minister of Housing.
