Manama, Dec. 11 (BNA): The President of the University of Bahrain, Dr. Jawaher bint Shaheen Al-Mudhahki, received the French Ambassador to Bahrain, Jerome Cauchard, and discussed with him ways to enhance linguistic cooperation.
Dr. Al-Mudhahki stressed the importance of developing students’ language skills and enhancing their ability to communicate in various languages, highlighting the efforts of the Center for French Studies at the University of Bahrain in spreading Francophone culture and providing a fertile learning environment for lovers of the French language. French language to broaden the horizons of thought, awareness, culture and communication skills between different cultures.
Ambassador Cochard, the French Embassy’s endeavor to enhance cultural exchange, as well as to enhance scientific and linguistic cooperation with various scientific institutions, in addition to strengthening relations between the two countries, and spreading awareness of the importance of French literature, language and culture.
