Manama, April 22 (BNA): The President of the University of Bahrain, Dr. Jawaher bint Shaheen Al-Madhaki, received the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Ni Rushi.as the United Nations celebrated the United Nations Chinese Language Day, which falls annually on April 20.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed aspects of joint cooperation and cultural exchanges between the University of Bahrain and the University of Shanghai.
Dr. Al Mudhahki stressed the importance of educational cooperation and cultural communication between the two universities within the framework of the “Belt and Road Initiative” and Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030.
The meeting also highlighted the efforts of the Confucius Institute at the University of Bahrain in facilitating cultural exchanges, offering courses in the Chinese language, and sponsoring various cultural activities.
