UNESCO displays Ibn Khaldoun National School’s greenhouse experience on its home page

Manama, October 2, (BNA) The Minister of Education and Chairman of the Bahraini National Committee for Education, Science and Culture, Dr. Majid bin Ali Al Nuaimi, praised the initiative of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). ) to display the greenhouse farming experience, implemented by Ibn Khaldoun National School in Isa Town, on the home page of its website, as one of the outstanding projects implemented by the UNESCO Associated Schools Project Network (ASPnet) all over the world.

The Minister thanked the school’s Board of Trustees and its head, as well as the administrative and teaching staff, for their efforts to sponsor environmental projects, and to contribute to achieving UNESCO’s goals related to sustainable development.

In this regard, Dr. Al-Nuaimi stressed the keenness of the Ministry of Education to support private schools and encourage their students to participate in various local and external events, wishing everyone success and success.

It should be noted that the greenhouse farming experience aims to use school facilities to be an essential part of preserving the environment and combating global warming, in addition to introducing students to good irrigation practices to conserve water in modern ways.
